RPE Project Subaru Impreza

This is a page dedicated to our project car. Here you can see our step-by-step development of our own rally car. Please note this may be a slow process, due to the fact we have alot of work on in our workshops.

In December 06, we bought a rolled 2000MY Impreza with the intention of re-shelling and building our own rally car. After a couple or months searching for a new shell, Phil's father stumbled across a unregistered late STi-RA shell in Yorkshire and so the process begins.

Ok we are now taking Project RA forward after putting it on hold for more than a year. We are fitting a T45 full FIA spec weld in cage and have decided to keep the car colour white.

last year Phil competed in Andy Crowle's uprated UK subaru until Andy wrote it off at Werrington Park and this year he and Phil are going to share Project RA.

Mike Rowley (pop), Phil's father, handing the doner shell over to Phil in Radcliffe Manchester.

Phil & Kev (Driver & Co-Driver) proudly showing off the new purchase.

Note: Odd coloured doors taken from stock and bolted to shell for transportation back to devon.

Ready for the cage, it now weighs only 490 kgs as a rolling chassis. As you can see we have sourced nice white doors to match the paintwork
